What is this?

We have £7,500 to invest in the ideas of the people who live, work, and care for St Columb's Park House.

We asked for ideas from people and groups that could be kickstarted with £500 - with each idea benefiting the community and/or the park.

Twenty-five ideas have been submitted and it's time for you to vote on the ideas you think couldn't happen without the money requested.

Those ideas with the most votes will get the money to deliver on their projects between January - June 2022.

The projects that don't quite get enough votes will receive support to explore other options through our Seed Fund.

All project bidders and voters will be invited to a Community Festival in June where we'll hear about how the ideas went.

Why does it matter?

We believe that it’s the people who live, work and play in our communities who are best placed to come up with ideas as well as make decisions on how money should be spent to improve the community.

Who can vote?

Anyone age 5 - 150 who lives, works, or cares for St Columb's Park. Every vote counts!

How do I vote?

You'll get 5 votes to distribute across 5 of the 25 projects. You can vote online here.

  • Please only vote once.

  • Get creative with your voting - surprise yourself, vote for something you wouldn't normally, give a vote for the benefit of future generations!
